||Do Wook is walking in the campus. His friends try to get Chae hee to eat with them but she's only interested in Do Wook. When he declines to join, she also leaves. His friends jeer him for not seizing the chance.||
||Cut to Do Wook in front of the house . He recalls his time as kids and playing with his sister. Mother and father are telling them not to run too much and not to trip. Mother dies soon after. The bond of brother and step sister was still strong.||
||As he steps in, he meets his crass step mother. He doesn't have a liking towards her. He hugs his sister who's cleaning some part of the house. Step mother watches them from afar.||
||Later, at night, step mother has sex with the father. Brother is doing something on his tablet in another room and doesn't hear them. She comments that she wants to have something delicious.||
||She walks in the boy's room and says the aroma is tasty for her to have. She runs her hand over his sleeping body, thinking of her meal. She leaves soon after and the boy drops the act. He curses her so much in his thoughts.||
||Next day, Chae hee tries to cheer up Do wook from his sleepless and dull state. They exchange numbers and he leaves.||
||At home, step mother scolds sister on the account of lazy house work. She is enraged when the sister tries to ask of her to express in detail and more often. Brother walks in, seeing the sister being slapped. He drops the bag of bagels in shock.||
